Getting good festival energy – from yoga

Yoga has life-enhancing powers to relax mind and body and give you a new release of energy. So just the thing for a Festival weekend. This year, for the first time, we are offering a relaxing session for festival goers.

Our session is suitable for all ages and abilities and is free - but donations gratefully accepted.

It takes place Sunday 5th August at the Daniel Owen Community Centre, in the centre of Mold next to the library. That’s just a short walk from the Festival field. If you want a session of gentle movement, harmonising breath and postures with guided relaxation arrive at 9am. Alternatively, if you would like to join the practice of Maram Airovetic (soft pressure points for a healthy body) arrive 8.30am.

This Akhand Yoga is being led by Mr Ranni Perry Shant, whose World Crafts stall can be found on the Festival Site.

Please remember that Yoga is best practiced on an empty stomach (drink water only) and wear loose comfortable clothing. Also bring a mat/blanket for relaxation. Your blankets can be safely stored at the Chair Hire hut on the Festival site if necessary. Mold has several places for breakfast afterwards.
